Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer

Huck and Tom discussing serious issues © Real Reads and Judith Hunt
Illustrated adaptions of Twain's classics Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn for Bookcraft Ltd's  Real Reads awhile back. Great fun coming up with the character sketches for Mark Twain's lively stories about growing up on the Mississippi River and addressing issues such as puberty, poverty, and prejudice or even freedom, flight, and fantasy. You name it Twain managed to cram these historic classics books full of issues still applicable today.

Anna Kirwan did a great job in adapting the novels for young readers.
Real Reads is part of Bookcraft Ltd.located in the UK. Great company with good people to work with.
