Memorial Day

Memorial Day is coming and this was such a fun illustration to do and so fitting that I thought I'd post it.

And it was done for a book I researched and illustrated about Memorial Day!

Medium was colored pencil, pastel, watercolor, and then digitally enhanced in Photoshop to get those beautiful highlights on the bugle/trumpet.
